Samsung Galaxy M53-reasons to buy this smartphone

This year smartphone manufacturing companies are trying to establish their presence in the mid-range segment. Samsung has recently launched a new mid-range device in its M series i.e Samsung Galaxy M53 which is also called the successor of the M52 5G. The initial price for its base variant is kept at Rs 24,999. The main highlights of the device include its super AMOLED display, 108MP primary camera, and 5,000mAh battery. This device also supports 5G connectivity. So here is a detailed review of the device.

Impressive Display

The all-new Samsung Galaxy M53 comes with 6.7 inches super AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The company has provided an option to change the refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz. The display is sharp and pure dark, which results in amazing picture quality. Samsung also allows you to choose between vivid mode and natural colour tone for the display. By default, it is set in vivid mode however you can change it as per your requirement.

The only downside of the display is the brightness. Indoors we don’t find any difficulty in viewing the screen. However, in bright sunlight, it is quite difficult to use.

Terrific Camera

The newly launched Samsung M53 is packed with a quad camera setup. Which includes a 108 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. Other secondary cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera.

The 108MP primary rear camera is capable of capturing detailed photos in good light conditions. If we talk about the ultra-wide camera, then the picture samples are good but not the best. At the first instant, the photo samples look perfectly fine but on zooming, we could easily find that the image lacks detail. The images from the ultrawide camera are over-sharpened which is the result of aggressive image processing.

If we talk about nighttime photography using Samsung M53 smartphone, the image we get is not so great. Where ever there are low light conditions you can switch to night mode which may produce some really good shots. We don’t find an IOS feature in this smartphone which makes it very difficult to produce clean and noise-free images at night time. Selfies taken from 32MP front cameras are good in daylight conditions. But produces the same categories of images as back cameras do in low light conditions.

Storage and battery

The newly launched Samsung M53 comes with 128GB of inbuilt internal storage. However, you can expand your storage as we get a dedicated Sd card slot in this device. The company has provided 5000mAh of battery in this smartphone which is sufficient to provide power to this device for the entire day. Along with this, we get the support of 25W fast charging in this smartphone. However, we don’t find any charger adapter in the box.

Incredible Performance

This smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. It is paired with 6GB/8GB RAMWith 128 internal storage. This smartphone is the fastest one in its segment. This processor is capable of handling all daily heavy usage. You can enjoy all your high-graphic games without any kind of lagging or heating issue. Although we do not find a Snapdragon processor in this device but nowadays most of the smartphones in this segment are powered by MediaTek processors only. You can easily play COD mobile with the support of both high and medium graphic settings. However, high frame rates are supported with medium graphics only.

Friendly UI

The overall weight of the device is around 176 grams which means that the device is very light in handle. The thickness of the device is 7.4mm.

Apart from this, the device comes with One UI 4.1 along with Android 12. Samsung M53 comes with a lot of customizable options like the default theme and icon size. The majority of customizable features are free but some of them are paid.
