Motorola has been planning to implement 5G technology in its devices. Last week, Motorola claimed that they have already started the work for 5G software support for its Indian customers. Along with all these, they also launched their brand new, smartphones Moto Edge 30 Ultra and Moto Edge 30 Fusion which will support Airtel 5G, Vi 5G, and Jio 5G networks. They also promised that the remaining Nine Motorola Phones will be getting 5G software updates by the first week of November.
5G Software Rollout
Mr. Prashanth Mani, the executive director of Motorola said that “Motorola 5G smartphones in India, across all categories, have hardware support for 11 to 13 5G brands including all 8 Sub 6Hz 5G brands have been announced in India. We have already started the rollout of OTA software updates for enabling 5G across both SA(Reliance Jio) and NSA(Airtel & Vi) 5G modes simultaneously on Motorola devices, enabling consumers to experience seamless 5G across Operators.”
This news came out when India’s top Bureaucrats met with leading Telecom and smartphone companies to discuss the 5G adaptation in India and the delay in the 5G adaptation. Global smartphone companies like Samsung, Apple, Google, Nokia Mobiles, and Asus are still in the stage of testing the 5G Networks in their devices. But Chinese smartphone companies like Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, and in have released OTA updates in their smartphones.
Samsung has said that they soon they are going to roll out some of its 5G smartphones in November. Apple mentioned earlier this week that its 5G smartphones will be getting OTA updates by the month of December.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra – 12GB RAM & 256GB internal
In September Motorola launched its 5G smartphone, Edge 30 Ultra in Indian Market. At that time, it only offers a memory combination of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal at a price range of Rs. 59,990. It was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset that offers fast charging and even more. Now, this smartphone comes with a 200MP Primary camera, 50MP Ultra-wide lens, and 12MP telephoto unit with a memory combination of 12GB RAM & 256GB storage announced by Motorola on Twitter.
It comes with a 6.67-inch which is an enhanced design with a punch-hole camera on the top of the display. It has a curved OLED panel and an in-display fingerprint scanner. You will find a 60MP front camera for taking beautiful selfies.
The price of the latest Ultra Edge 30 on Flipkart is about Rs. 64,999 but Motorola said that the cost may be cut down to Rs.56,999 with selected bank offers and exchange offers. Motorola Edge 30 Fusion
Edge 30 fusion comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED Display with support of full HD+ resolution at 1080×2340 pixels. You could find the front camera fits in the punch hole of the screen. The aspect ratio offered by the smartphone is 20:9 providing a larger viewing area and a screen-to-body ratio of over 84 percent.
The volume rockers and the power buttons are placed on the right side of the smartphone. This device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

This device is powered by Media Tek Dimensity 900 octa-core 5G chipset which is paired with a memory combination of 8GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. Moreover, this phone gives you a feature to upgrade your storage up to 1TB. We get to see 108MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle-sensor and 2MP depth sensor. While on the front side we have a 32MP camera for selfies and attending video calls.
