The google pixel buds pro is the fourth product of google wireless buds. These buds come with a pack of boxes that has good audio quality, competent ANC, and amazing battery life. With the features like ANC and transparency modes, the Pixel Buds Pro delivers a premium experience to its users. if you are looking for a Google Pixel buds pro review, then you have landed on the best price comparison website. Here is the complete blog about Google Pixel Buds Pro.
Design and build
The Google Pixel Buds pro is the heavy version of pixel buds. However, the parts going inside your ear canal are not that big. They also have lag-stabilizing fins that google buds had. When the name google comes you should be relaxed in case of comfort. The ear tips get perfectly fit inside the ear. After regular use, you won’t even feel as if something is there.
The google pixel buds come in four different color options: Charcoal, grey-blue, pinky-orange, and greenish-yellow. The charging case of the buds is wider in size and a little bit taller and thicker than the last two versions of google pixel buds. You will find a USB-C port on the bottom of the case for charging purposes. Unlike A-series, there is no funky color charging cases here. You only get black and white.
Moreover, the Pixel Buds Pro comes with an additional set of ear tops in a little cardboard tube which looks very cute. There is no USB cable included in the box.
Sound Quality and other features
Just like its ancestors, Google Pixel buds have great sound quality. It has a natural and spacious sound with little bass in it. If you will compare these buds with A-series and Google pixel buds then you hardly find any difference in the sound quality of all the buds.
The best part we liked about the google pixel buds pro is the tuning that is done in it. The highs and mids are clear, the bass is a little ample and bouncy. Google has finally added a full five-band equalizer in the google Pixel Buds app, which means you can adjust low bass, mids, and treble according to your wish. Before this, there was only the option of Volume EQ that boosts the base when your volume was low.
You won’t find the support of LDAC or Qualcomm’s aptX codecs here. We haven’t faced any kind of latency while playing games or watching Youtube videos. We can say that the microphone quality is decent but not very good. We have tested these buds for usual calls and we couldn’t hear any background noise on the other side in a less noisy environment. However, if you get out in traffic, the other person on call will get to know about it.
Google Claims that they have a custom processor paired with a custom Algorithm in their Pixel buds pro for noise cancellation. However, this extra effort is not seen much in these buds. Low sounds, humming, and airflow are muted by this algorithm but running engines or people taking can’t be muted effectively. If you are going with Google Pixel Buds Pro as an ANC device then this purchase could disappoint you.
The touch control’s offered in this device are almost the same as 2020’s google pixel buds. One tap to play/pause, two to skip forward, and three to skip back. You can also adjust the volume by swiping forward and backward on any of the buds. This volume control is an extreme feature that lacks in the A-series.
Pressing and holding either earbud prompts the Google Assistant. You can also keep a long press to switch between ANC and transparency modes. These buds also support fast pair-based audio switching features. This feature provides the benefit of seamless connection.
On a single charge, you can expect your buds would last a whole day with continuous usage. The charging case can last up to two additional charges. In this earbuds Pro there is a major improvement from the previous generation in case of battery life.
|Battery||Up to 7 hours with ANC and 11 hours with ANC off|
|IP Rating codecs||IPX4(Buds), IPX2(case)|
The Google Buds have a skeel design, and compact size paired up with strong audio quality. The pixel buds have an excellent transparency mode that allows you to hear the sound outside the world. The only thing that disappointed us is the ANC quality. Along with that it also doesn’t support high-bitrate codecs like LDAC. However, after these all things these buds are a must-buy suggestion from our side.
